This spring, embark on a stunning journey through the stars with The Little Prince: A Physical Theatre Adaptation, a groundbreaking new production premiering at Theatre Passe Muraille from April 2–19, 2025. Led by visionary Deaf artist and storyteller Landon Krentz, this world premiere reimagines Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved tale through a mesmerizing fusion of physical theatre, Visual Vernacular (VV), American Sign Language (ASL), vertical dance, and immersive projection design.

This unique adaptation transcends spoken language, harnessing the power of movement and visual storytelling to create an experience that speaks directly to the heart. Audiences will follow The Little Prince on an interstellar adventure, encountering whimsical inhabitants and uncovering profound lessons on love, belonging, and the human spirit.

A Visionary Artist

Based in Calgary, Landon Krentz is a Deaf artist and storyteller known for bridging the gap between Deaf and hearing audiences. As the creator and lead artist of The Little Prince adaptation, he brings a fresh perspective to this timeless tale. His acclaimed works include JESSE: An ASL Opera and A World Without Them, and he has collaborated with leading companies such as Soulpepper, Inside Out Theatre, and Ghost River Theatre. His work celebrates the beauty of visual language and the deep connections that come through shared communication.
