Once again you are going to hear them RRROOOAAARRR over the skies of Toronto this Labour Day weekend. The skies over the CNE will be active on Saturday, Sunday and Labour Day Monday. Best viewing area is at the lakefront just west of the Ontario Place bridge. All shows start at noon to 3 pm daily.

Canada’s icons of the air, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will perform their dazzling display of high-speed, formation aerobatics.The team’s amazing aerial artistry will leave you glowing with patriotic pride!
CF-18 Hornet Demo

Showcasing the pinnacle of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF)’s assets, the CF-18 jet’s unbelievable manoeuver ability, combat capabilities and overall sky-power will thrill the crowd with its tactical demo. Featuring a paint scheme in honour of the 75th Anniversary of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP), this crowd-favourite is not one to be missed!
Breitling Jet Team
Back for one final stop in Toronto on the second leg of their North American Tour, the Breitling Jet Team will wow CIAS fans with their incredible blend of “…technique, mastery and style” in the skies! Mike Wiskus flies the Lucas Oil Pitts Special because Mike’s flying is unbelievably special. Turn up the ROAR! The sounds of vintage aircraft evokes emotion like nothing else flying in the skies. The CIAS commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) with demonstrations by the Beech 3NM Expeditor and Canadian (North American) Harvard.

See the powerhouse of the the RCAF- the “Herc,” will perform a full tactical demonstration at this year’s show!
Sar Demo by the CH-146 Griffon
The RCAF’s Griffon helicopter will be performing an awesome SAR Demo!
CT-156 Harvard II
A commemorative flight featuring the vintage Harvard and Harvard II will take place – you will DEFINITELY want your cameras out for this! The RCAF notes, “…the aircraft is painted to resemble an aircraft flown by Pilot Officer John Gillespie Magee, Jr., the famed author of “High Flight.”
Yak Attack’s Grumman TBM Avenger
Yak Attack’s Grumman TBM Avenger was the heaviest single engine aircraft of WWII with a cruising speed of 275 miles per hour and a max flight range of 2265 miles. CIAS fans are in for an awesome demonstration by this vintage powerhouse!
Royal Canadian Air Cadets Bellanca Scout Tow-Plane and Schweizer 2-33 Glider
Having trained some of Canada’s most renowned pilots, the Royal Canadian Air Cadet League is still one of the country’s largest youth organizations. Displaying the aircraft used in their cadet flight training program, the Bellanca Scout Tow-Plane and Schweizer SGS 2-33 Glider have inspired thousands of Canadian pilots to get their wings, including our national Astronaut hero, Commander (ret’d) Chris Hadfield.
