Back by popular demand, this enchanting roller-skating experience transforms Toronto’s Union Station into a vibrant winter retreat for all ages.
Forget the traditional ice rinks—Roller Express offers a festive indoor roller-skating adventure like no other. The TD West Carriageway comes alive with dazzling lights, holiday-themed decor, and a lively atmosphere guaranteed to ignite your winter spirit.
The Roller Express is in the TD West Carriageway, located on the northwest side of Union Station, one level below the Great Hall. It is beside the restaurant Amano, and close to the Union Station Security Office.
Skate, Dance, Celebrate
Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a curious beginner, Roller Express has something for everyone. Groove to DJ-spun tunes or live musical performances as you skate along the smooth surface. Special theme nights, from retro disco to holiday classics, keep the energy high throughout the event.

How to Join the Fun
Pre-booking your skating session is recommended to secure your spot. Rental skates are available, but feel free to bring your own gear. Roller Express is designed to be accessible and inclusive, making it a perfect outing for friends, families, and even date nights.

All guests must pre-register for the Roller Express. Pre-registration is available for 2-hour timeslots within the hours of operation:
11:00 AM–1:00 PM, 1:30 PM–3:30 PM, 4:00 PM-6:00 PM, 6:30 PM-8:30 PM (Sat 9:00 PM-11:00 PM)
The Roller Express is a FREE ticketed experience, except for our NYE party! For regular hours, there is no charge for entry, skate rentals, protective equipment rentals, or rink time, however, all guests are required to pre-register for the Roller Express for all time slots. Pre-registration is available for 2-hour timeslots within the hours of operation. Learn more about pre-registration here.
Please note that to participate in the free skate and protective equipment rental, you must provide a physical piece of government-issued ID which will be held until you return your skates.
