Casa Loma
Each October, the grounds of Casa Loma will once again be transformed into an immersive theatrical experience, Legends of Horror. Done in the presentational form considered “promenade theatre”, in which the audience walks at their own pace through a 2 km trail commencing in the lower gardens of Casa Loma and winding its way through the castles tunnels and darkest spaces never before open to the public.
Throughout the over 1 hour experience, the audience is immersed in a variety of theatrically designed sets in gardens and chambers below the castle. Each of these introduces characters in the environmental theatre, in which the physical location, rather than being a traditional playhouse, creates the actual setting. The traditional set change does not exist but is created by having the audience move on to the next scene. A crescendo of the production is the 3D projection on the exterior of the castle which brings the characters of the storyline and the walls of the castle to life.

FAMILY HOURS (no actors) | 5 pm – 6:30 pm
October 18th to November 2nd: $45 online | $50 onsite
*FAMILY HOURS are designed for families with younger children to be less frightening and run earlier in the evening when less dark. There are no live actors/characters. Family Hours are available between October 18th and November 2nd from 5 pm – 6:30 pm.

Legends of Horror is a cashless experience.
PURCHASE TICKETSLegends of Horror tickets are valid ONLY for the date and time indicated on the ticket.
There will an hourly attendance to control guest flow and create a better experience for all guests.
- Guests should plan to arrive on time for the allotted time. If they have not pre-purchased their tickets, guests can purchase tickets upon arrival onsite and will be placed in line in the order they arrive. Tickets purchased onsite are first come, first served and admission is subject to capacity.
- Legends of Horror Admission is not included with Casa Loma General Admission tickets. Does not include access to a tour inside Casa Loma.
- All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and can only be exchanged on a new date within the program dates of September 30th – October 31st. 2022, subject to availability.
