He gained recognition for his reinterpretations of Persian carpets, an iconic symbol of Persian culture, reimagining their motifs and patterns with a modern twist. Pour often combines traditional hand-painting techniques with contemporary methods, including silkscreen printing and digital tools, to create works that are as layered in meaning as they are visually stunning.
A graduate of Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, Pour’s art has been exhibited internationally, with works held in prestigious collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the British Museum.
