Black Creek Pioneer Village helps people apply the history of life in Toronto in the 1860s.

During the Christmas season, Black Creek Pioneer Village has traditionally offered a variety of festive experiences that transport visitors back in time to celebrate the holiday in a historical setting. You’re invited to join in this exploration of an old-fashioned Christmas in the heart of Toronto.

Santa at the Village
December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 – 23, 2024
12:00  to 4:00 p.m.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Jingle all the way to the Village and take part in a day of festive fun and joy.

Become one of Santa’s helpers. Try your hand at toy making, discover holiday magic at the School for Elves, craft old-time holiday decorations, and participate in melody making during our Jingle Bell Jam Session.

Sample Santa’s favourite sweets, and then experience a wintery puppet show. Sip hot cocoa while enjoying cheerful fireside stories. Create a traditional Christmas card, and test your skills at our Reindeer Carnival Games.

Be sure to snap an “elfie” or two while visiting the jolly old man himself. He’s ho-ho-hoping to welcome you this December at Black Creek Pioneer Village!

Festive Nights
December 7, 14, 21, 2024
6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Enjoy a frosty frolic through our dazzling holiday village, warmed by the glow of twinkling lights, cozy fires, and old-fashioned oil lamps.

Experience the warmhearted festivities of the season, including live entertainment and samples of delicious holiday treats.

Cozy up to a roaring fire as you enjoy a classic holiday tale, take part in our enchanting Yuletide Ball, and create old-fashioned handmade ornaments to take home and deck the halls.

Grab a piping hot chocolate and enjoy a whimsical puppet show, take part in Victorian parlour games, and try your hand at traditional candle dipping.

No matter if you’ve been naughty and nice, stop by Santa’s cottage and meet Kris Kringle himself.
