The Barrie Waterfront Festival is back to bring Centennial Park to life with amazing musical acts, food trucks, a children’s fun zone and more!
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Barrie Waterfront Festival, presented by 101.1 BIG FM and 93.1 Fresh Radio which takes place May 23-25, 2025. For over a decade, the Barrie community has embraced the festival, contributed to its growth, and helped establish its cultural importance. It has signified the beginning of warmer weather, a reason for families to get together, and a chance to discover new artists while appreciating major headliners. With a warm welcome, we have been able to make it to the spring event for citizens and businesses of Barrie and Simcoe County.
The FREE ADMISSION 101.1 Big AND 93.1 Fresh Radio stage is located in Centennial Park with an adjacent beer garden. As always, the festival promises to deliver an exciting line-up of performers and this year is no different! From hip-hop to classic rock, solo artists to tribute bands, this all-ages event will get everyone dancing and singing along. Start your weekend off Friday night with the Young Country and 95.1 The Peak Live & Original Night.
This three-day event will excite foodies and music lovers alike. In addition to the great music and food trucks, there will be a licensed beer/wine garden area where attendees can relax and enjoy the atmosphere on the waterfront.
A fan favourite of free outdoor entertainment returns with a midway of rides including the Sizzler, Spinner, Grotesque dark ride, Berry-go-round, Teacups, Rio Grande train, rock climbing wall, car and motorcycles, and everyone’s favourites the Ferris wheel and carnival games. Face painting, street vendors, fresh food, treats, and contests will also be.
