The elite gathering at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills was a Canadian star-studded affair kicked off with a welcome from Mayor John Tory. As polite as Canadians may be, the visibly upset David Foster, who we all know and love, made an unannounced impromptu appearance on stage during the presentation of the Legacy Award to Catharine O’Hara and Eugene Levy. He simply grabbed the mic and told the audience in the back not paying attention to “shut the fuck up and be respectful”. And they did! And the party continued to celebrate the finest Canadian Entertainment!

For more Canadian Entertainment news to be continued at the Screen Awards in Toronto next month.
