The Art Gallery of Hamilton (AGH) is delighted to announce the 2025 AGH Art Sale, set to take place from Wednesday, April 23, to Sunday, April 27, 2025. As the largest art fair west of Toronto in Ontario, this annual event offers art enthusiasts and collectors a unique opportunity to acquire exceptional works from contemporary artists across the region.
Admission to the Art Sale is free, and attendees will also enjoy complimentary access to all gallery exhibitions throughout the event.
Event Schedule:
- Wednesday, April 23: Private viewings by invitation or appointment only, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Thursday, April 24: Opening Reception from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring a cash bar and refreshments.
- Friday, April 25: Open to the public from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Saturday, April 26: Open to the public from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Sunday, April 27: Open to the public from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Art Sale will be held in the Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Pavilion at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, located at 123 King Street West, Hamilton, ON. This spacious and architecturally stunning venue provides an ideal setting for showcasing the diverse array of artworks available for purchase.
Each year, the AGH Art Sale features over 300 artworks, carefully selected through a juried process to ensure a high standard of quality and diversity. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, photography, mixed media, and works on paper, catering to a wide range of artistic tastes and preferences.
For those eager to get a head start on viewing and purchasing, early online access is available upon registration. This exclusive opportunity allows collectors to browse the entire collection before the public opening. Interested individuals are encouraged to sign up for early access notifications.
