Hamilton Winterfest is a co-production between The City of Hamilton, local arts non-profit Cobalt Connects, and a long list of community partners who bring specialized programming to life from February 1st – 17th. From community partners like the Art Gallery of Hamilton and Hamilton Public Library, SoupFest, and Neighbourhood Associations – Winterfest gives you every excuse to get out of the house or hop online to connect with your community.
More than 60 events across the city from pancake breakfasts to art exhibitions, concerts to sporting events.
The Winterfest HUB brings the rooftop plaza of Jackson Square to life at night with remarkable light creations by artists from across Ontario, and a series of FREE events that are not to be missed.
Winterfest POP is a 10,000-square-foot pop culture explosion in the heart of downtown Hamilton! Revisit the nostalgia of your youth through interactive exhibitions of plush toys and action figures, scratch-n’ sniff stickers, video games, and so much more.

- 1963 Wurlitzer Jukebox filled with local music (all free to play)
- Pinball and Arcade Games (all free to play)
- Ride the Rocket – a vintage mechanical rocket with images from the James Webb Telescope

Love in Lights is the brightest Valentine’s Day Party in Hamilton. Celebrate the day amongst light installations of the Winterfest HUB, a live DJ, a delicious dessert from Always Pancakes, photos without onsite photographer and a signature Love in Lights LED light-up surprise!
